Because I'm a newbie blogger, I will be trying out different things on my blog. If you see changes, regarding posts, subjects, topics, and etc, it's okay. I think that's what newbie bloggers are supposed to do.
Anyways, Gunnie Weekly is going to be and it will be mix of news regarding South/North Korea mostly and other interesting topics I find. Here is this week's:

***** This has been big this week - Three Japanese lawmakers were denied entry at Gimpo (김포) Airport. (from here and here)
"Yoshitaka Shindo, Tomomi Inada, and Masahisa Sato of the conservative Liberal Democratic Party had planned to visit Ulleung Island on a mission to stress Japan's dubious territorial claim to Korea's Dokdo islets."Well.. they were
And of course, Koreans were doing what they are good at, protesting by lighting
Just putting this news out there for those who are thinking "those Koreans are so mean... Those nice looking Japanese men just wanted to look at the island... (and possible take it over while they were there)"

Random news I found interesting: Lee Bu-jin (이부진), daughter of Lee Kun-hee (이건희) (not me), the owner of Samsung, carpooled together to work. (Here) According to the report, this is the first time the father and the daughter carpooled to work together.
Maybe "take-your-daughter-to-work-day is catching on in Korea. Which reminds me of Arrested Development episode of take-your-daughter-to-work-day.
Or maybe she realized how cool/hip/awesome her dad's car is. If my father rode around in Rolls Royce Phantom, I think I'd carpool with him everyday.
